1. Information Collection

"Progressio" is designed to function without requiring any personal data or registration, ensuring user privacy and security. Users can track their habits, set goals, and monitor progress without creating an account or providing any personal details. We do not collect, request, or store any personal identifier information.

2. Health Data Access and Integration (Apple HealthKit & Google Health Connect)

Progressio integrates with Apple HealthKit (on iOS/watchOS) and Google Health Connect (on Android) to automatically sync and track health-related habits.

Health Data We Access (Read):With your explicit consent, Progressio reads specific health and fitness data types to automatically complete and visualize your habits (e.g. tracking a "10,000 steps" habit). This includes:
  • Daily step counts (Steps)
  • Distance walked or run (Distance)
  • Active energy / calories burned
  • Workout/exercise sessions and duration
  • Sleep analysis and duration
  • Hydration (water intake logs)
  • Nutrition logs (protein, total calories, carbohydrates, and fats)
  • Mindfulness / meditation session minutes
Health Data We Write:If you log your habits directly within the app, Progressio can write these values back to Apple HealthKit or Google Health Connect so your centralized health metrics remain in sync. This is limited to:
  • Hydration (water logged in-app)
  • Nutrition (calories and macronutrients logged in-app)
  • Mindfulness sessions completed in-app
Privacy and Usage Restrictions:
  • No Server Collection: All health data read from or written to HealthKit and Health Connect is processed strictly on your local device. We do not transmit or store your health data on our own external servers.
  • No Third-Party Sharing: Your health data is never shared with third parties, external databases, or other applications.
  • No Advertising or Commercialization: We never sell, lease, or use your health data for advertising, marketing, profiling, or any commercial purposes.
  • User Control: Access to health data is fully optional and requires explicit permissions. You can grant, deny, or revoke permissions at any time through the system Settings app or health app configuration.

3. Data Storage and Sharing

By default, the app stores user data locally on the device. We do not share, sell, or disclose any user data to third parties. If you choose to enable cloud sync (iCloud on Apple devices or Google Drive on Android), the app will synchronize database files using your private cloud accounts. This sync is managed entirely by your operating system/account and does not grant the developers any access or visibility into your private data.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data only for as long as you choose to use the app and store your habit history.

  • Data Retention: Since we do not host or store your habit records on our own external servers, all data remains on your local device and (if enabled) your private Google Drive or iCloud container. The data is retained indefinitely on your device and private cloud container until you decide to delete it.
  • In-App Deletion: You can delete individual habit logs, delete specific habits, or completely reset all data directly within the application settings.
  • App Uninstallation: Uninstalling the Progressio app from your device will immediately and permanently erase all local databases, cached logs, and settings stored on that device.
  • Cloud Backup Deletion: If you have enabled cloud sync, you can turn off synchronization in the app settings and delete the stored application data from your private cloud storage at any time:
    • Google Drive (Android): You can manage third-party access to your Google Account on the Google Account Permissions page. To permanently delete the synced app database, go to Google Driveon the web, click the Settings (gear icon) > Settings > Manage Apps, find Progressio, click "Options", and select "Delete hidden app data".
    • iCloud (iOS/watchOS):Open your Apple device's Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Manage Account Storage > Progressio, and select "Delete Data from iCloud".

5. Security

While we do not host or have access to your database, we take all reasonable device-level security and best-practice platform measures to protect the integrity of the application.

6. Cookies

"Progressio" does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies.

7. Third-Party Links

The app may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g. standard store links). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites.

8. Children's Privacy

"Progressio" is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.

9. Changes to Privacy Policy

Any updates to our Privacy Policy will be published on this page and, if significant, communicated through app updates.
